OKLAHOMA CITY (OK)— Victor Wembanyama delivered a historic performance, scoring 41 points and grabbing 24 rebounds to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a thrilling 122-115 double-overtime victory over the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.

Wembanyama, who joined Wilt Chamberlain as the only players with 40+ points and 20+ rebounds in a Conference Finals debut, dominated inside and controlled the glass against Chet Holmgren. Rookie Dylan Harper added 24 points, 11 rebounds, seven steals, and six assists in a standout playoff performance, stepping up with De’Aaron Fox sidelined.

The game featured multiple lead changes and went to double overtime after a frantic finish. Alex Caruso led the Thunder with 31 points, including eight three-pointers, while Jalen Williams contributed 26 points.
